Fee-Free TAFE and vocational education means you can gain the skills you need for jobs of the future at no financial cost to you.

15,000 Fee-Free TAFE and vocational education places

In addition to the 12,500 Fee Free TAFE and vocational education places announced at the beginning of 2023, the Australian and South Australian Governments have invested in an additional 15,000 places, including 1,500 places for First Nations students to be made available over 3 years from the start of 2024. This further commitment builds on the success of Fee-Free TAFE and vocational education throughout this year.

Limited Fee-Free TAFE and vocational education opportunities from the first offering are still available for eligible learners enrolling in and commencing a new course in 2023.
