Be kind to yourself — your mental health and wellbeing matters

Everyday life can be complex and challenging.

Juggling the demands of training with work and the rest of your life can take a toll.

It’s important to care for your mental and physical health during training to set you up for success.

Feeling overwhelmed?

Some stress during training is to be expected.

But if you’re feeling anxious or depressed and struggling to sleep or maintain positive relationships with family and friends, it’s time to speak with someone.

Talk with someone

If wellbeing strategies aren’t working, and you're noticing anxiety, depression or other issues, you’re not alone.

44% of Australians will experience a mental health condition. That’s a lot of us.

A great starting point is talking to your GP and training provider to ensure you have enough support in place.

Your training provider may connect you with Learner Support Services. TAFE SA students can access support via Student Services.
